Here is another fun and useful activity. Any child loves to run like a horse and better still a rider holding his reigns to cheer him on. 

Two ways to make a rope from wool.

For both you will need wool or cotton twice the length of what you finally require. Attaching a bell adds to the effect but is not necessary.

The final product can also be used as a skipping rope, dressing gown cords or to hold curtains back or even to wrap up a present with a thinner more delicate version.
